MADRASAH DAN TANTANGAN
PENDIDIKAN ISLAM DEWASA INI

Abstract :
      Although the madrasah’s existence is later than the other Islamic education institute in Indonesia, now madrasah has been developing fast either quantitatively or qualitatively. The number of madrasah and also its students increase more and more in all of Indonesia’s regions.  Madrasah quality is better sometimes together with more strengthening of the existence of madrasah as part of national education system.
      In this case, the madrasah’s defiance is heavier. A part of the heavier defiance is caused by the madrasah condition that haven’t able to perform educational function maximally because of its internal condition. Generally, madrasah is facing two main deviances in teaching case, are there aren’t academics and competences qualifications completely and also there are so many miss-match teacher. Whereas, UU no.14 year 2005 about teacher and lecturer determined that the teacher has to have special qualification and competence. If in teen years it can not be completed, it is not impossible that that institute must be liquidated. So, all of parties have to be more serious to create the madrasah to develop the mentality of the nation.
